Pogg is a game that will help your kids learn words, objects, actions, and have a great time in the process!

Its a fun educational game for young children, as well as a proven useful tool in kids language development. It stars Pogg, a little green alien who can do all sorts of things.

Pogg is built on the open question, “What should Pogg do now?”, allowing you to type in whatever you like, and Pogg will most likely be able to do it – type in “run” and he’ll go for a run… type in “cook” and he cooks!

You can also watch all of Pogg’s actions through Picture Mode, which presents each action as an easy to press icon.

Pogg is receiving consistently high ratings from parents, teachers, game reviewers, speech therapists and disability workers. It has found a warm place in the hearts of special education children and their teachers and parents, and received the endorsement of multiple speech therapists as well as being cited in publications as a useful app for helping the language development of special education students.

"It is without doubt one of the best games for kids I have seen in the App Store. It is creative and useful, and just plain fun." (iPhone Footprint review)

If you like fun, you’ll like Pogg :)

Pros and cons of Pogg - kids game for language app for iPhone and iPad

Pogg - kids game for language app good for

Hilarious game for my kids - they love the cute character and the funny things he does. Recommended highly!
Its a really nice and beautiful application for my child who always laugh seeying it working.
This is a very cute app! The animations are well done and certainly something kids will enjoy. My daughter thinks a lot of what the alien does is funny. I like the two options in control- either through typing in the command or by selecting a picture of what you want him to do. This makes the app something children can grow with. I do wish that the alien would say the word in his alien voice so that it would reinforce learning to write out the words to kids. I hope there will be updates with even more words and animations. Overall a well done cute app for kids! I recommend it.
Dude! THIS IS SICK! Intense  I also think that there a parent restriction on it also. He should do more things you could block that are more bad. There should also be some mini games.
Great idea, but a few issues. -keeps freezing/closing on iPad 2 -should use all verbs, so SHAKE, not BELL, KICK, not BALL, etc. That would make it much more useful as a special needs app. Looking forward to updates!!
I purchased Pogg some time ago and am finding it to be a great app for my special needs preschoolers. Thanks for fixing the moon action! My only disappointment is that the app crashes frequently on my ipad. Sometimes it gets frozen on a screen and other times the app just closes. Hope therell be a fix for this sometime soon!

Some bad moments

My son tried to spell lots of basic beginner words and Pogg has no action for them. Could he learn the basics - cat, dog, bat. Not nearly enough words and the words they have are things beginning spellers wont spell - holiday:-/
I bought this app because I was under the impression that it would help my childs vocabulary and it doesnt even stimulate his mind... Dont waste your money on this.. It has a green monster with pictures and your press on the picture and he does what it says.
Im not able to get sound! Son loves it on his speech therapist iPad but we arent getting sound on his.
Just purchased this app but unable to get sound. Ive tried other apps & sound works with them. Was looking forward to using this app with students this school year.
